*Updating will delete the user settings like user kits and some MIDI datas. You can export these settings to USB drive to save them, when the firmware version is 4.00 or later. 

*Before beginning to update, please press SETUP>>VER to check firmware version. 
If the version is earlier than 3.0, you would need to upgrade to 3.00 at first, then you can update the latest firmware . 
If the version is 3.00 - 4.09, please begin the update following steps below.
*If the version is 4.10 or later, please skip Step 4.


The Update Steps
1. Put the dpupdate.bin file in the root directory of the USB drive, and plug this USB drive into the USB-A port of PD705 Pad
2. Press SETUP>>UPDATE>>OK>>Yes
3. Wait for the update to complete, the pad will restart automatically
4. Repeat Step 2 to load the firmware second time.
5. Press SETUP>>RESET>>OK, while the reset is completed, you can press SETUP>>VER to check that the firmware version is 4.29, and the Detect version is ED0.21.

Program Optimizations:
1. Optimize the sending and receiving of MIDI note.
2. Solve the noise problem when booting.
